garbev
Hello All, Selling my G&L 2500 fretless, got it as a fallback bass for when my Pedulla went. In the strange world of Basschat I was offered a beautiful Marleaux 5 in a P/X deal for said Pedulla so the G&L is surplus to requirements. It's a 1997 USA model(had the neck off), Swamp Ash body, premium see through finish, with a lined Ebony fingerboard only available now as a custom order. String spacing is 17.5mm at the bridge. Very versatile sounding bass, does Jazz Precision, Musicman all well as some great variations an the above. It's set up with a low action with plenty of mwahh, and growl in the lower registers. Controls are vol/treble/bass, switch one, passive, active, active with treble boost, switch two, series parallel, switch three, p/up selector. The bass is in great condition, no dings I can't even see any surface scratches fingerboard is also excellent. Comes with an ABS G&L case, also in great nick. This bass was played by a few 'chatters at the recent bash in Cardiff and proved very popular with the guys. I'm looking for £575 plus P&P also pickup or meeting is fine, I'm based in South Wales. I could be interested in a CIJ '62 fretted Jazz and £200 cash, what's out there? Cheers, Gary Edited December 5, 2009 by garbev
