QOTSA No one knows

My band has done this a few times live, and I always follow the guitars in the chorus to keep the song going - our drummer does the mad fills like the album version, but I feel if I played the bassline as it is recorded, the chorus could degenerate into a mistimed mess. Anyone else play this live, what's your approach?

I roughly follow the guitarist, but do runs from the root note instead...I feel it locks in better with the drummer

I play it as is, we manage to stay in time pretty well, save a couple of slips every now and again.

I've just started to play this, and as such I just follow the guitarist for now. Might start adding the mad fills and slides when it gets a bit tighter.
