tangoo
I have a 5-string I'd like to sell. It was bought from The Bass Centre Manchester about 2000 or so and has probably less than ten hours of playing, so is very nearly mint condition. It is marked inside the control plate as 330 series, made in Japan serial 980740. Gold hardware, translucent green finish. A mate is very keen, I'd like to ask him a fair price rather than Ebay it. Any ideas what I should be asking?
tangoo
I am a bit unsure about what this bass actually is. The serial number would indicate it being made in 1998 i think, but it says "produced by SGC Nanyo" and it has the SGC marked soapbar pickups and Gotoh heads. I remember it being listed at ₤788 but of course no-one actually paid that.

Happy Jack
What with the whole Warwick thing going on there, and the shape of the headstock, I'd never have known that was a Bass Collection.

Happy Jack
Done it! By Jove I've done it! Having owned and sold an SB301, SB310, SB320, SB325 and SB330 followed by a 4-year gap with no SGC Nanyo action in my instrument rack, I finally managed to find the SB320 of my dreams. Memory often plays tricks, and I was a little concerned when it arrived in case my memory of how well these basses feel and play had become a bit rose-tinted. I needn't have worried ... this is a simply beautiful bass which sits very comfortably alongside my existing collection of basses. I'll try to find the time to take some photos this weekend. BassBus
I wonder if any of you kind gentlemen owning Bass Collections would be kind enough to measure the scale length from the nut to the G saddle. I'm measuring up to install the new bridge on my rebuild and it appears to be 33 1/2 inches. Is that correct? Any help would be appreciated.
