tayste_2000 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 (edited) Well it's mini for me Brand new Matamp 2x12 with Mesa Boogie 400+ in matching red headcase. Gives you a guide to the size that's a shortscale 1975 Epiphone At the moment this is my home practice and grab and go rig. It sounds stunning All pics taken with my blackberry so they appear a little bit more pink than it actually is Edited December 8, 2009 by tayste_2000 Quote

baixo Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Hi, Looks very cool I am looking for an headcase like that for my SVT-2Pro. Did the Matamp guys build the head case ? The 2x12 also looks great, I would be tempted to get one in Orange Tolex to go with the Orange Bass Terror that I got this weekend Cheers Joao Quote
tayste_2000 Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 Umcoo has seen it so I'm sure he'll atest to how it's actually red. yes Matamp made the headcase Quote
umcoo Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 It's just basically what you think of when you think of 'red'. A lot richer and darker in colour, than the photos can show. Quote
nig Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I Love that, can I ask, if its not too rude, how much that lovley little set up cost. ??? Quote
tayste_2000 Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 2x12 is £350 and a headcase is £150 400+ is whatever you can find them for pretty much £700-£1000 Quote
ashevans09 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Holy moly! Thanks for the heads up, that's gorgeous! Sound clips available? Quote

RichardH Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Do you know what speakers they use in the 2x12? Quote
tayste_2000 Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 You can have Celestion or Eminence, the Emincence are £50 more expensive and add about 10kg's to the cab but they are seriously bassy as anyone at the Newcastle Bass Bass can atest. I'm not sure of the models on each I don't go into that stuff, I plug in an if it sounds good then it's good I don't need a specs sheet to tell me otherwise. Quote
harvey1-8 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I still don't have a need for a 400+, but I'd love one all the same. Fantastic set-up, tayste. Quote
tayste_2000 Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 As well people as an open invite if anyone find them self lost in Manchester and wants to have a go on any of this they are more than welcome. Quote
