Stingray5 Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 Just saw this on ebay. Just wondering about the headstock as there's no logo. Seller says it was "nearly completely worn off prior to having the guitar re lacquered". Could it be a replacement neck? Quote

I don't know much about the ins and outs of these vintage guitars but the tuners look a tad new as well. Plus there's the fact that he's a newbie ebayer with zero feedback. I'd be very careful with this one. Quote

Neck code is wrong. 4 is a Jazzmaster, 7 is a Jazz bass.. Zero feedback? Nah, run away.. Quote
Stingray5 Posted December 6, 2009 Author Posted December 6, 2009 Sorry about the link OG and guys, forgot to include that. My post was just a heads up to see what other people thought. I've no intention of buying the bass. I was also sus about the machines. Quote
PURPOLARIS Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 £50 for postage ????? Why is it that when the price of a guitar goes up sellers think the postage should go up too I can understand insurance being a bit higher to cover the costs but not £40 higher. Quote
