Actually gold hardware is just chrome with a bit of gold plate over the top so it's not that easy to make it look aged unless you start scratching the finish off. I always found dirty fingermarks gave my chrome tuners and bridge a rather patinated look - all you've got to do is not ever clean it! Quote
