tayste_2000
4ohms, all the Bass 2x12's are 4ohms but if you've got 2 you can run them in parallel at 8ohms

Jonesy64
Not a Bass rig but here's my GT2 and 2x12. The head was the second one to be built, number one went abroad somewhere, Germany I think. I would love a Matamp bass head but that's a long ways off. Hayden fitted his Bulldog vintage PAF's into my Lester as well. Top, top blokes, can't speak highly enough about them. Icunningham
Really really tempted by a matamp 212. Can anyone shed some light on them and how it would cope with my svt classic

Amo
Well if you're interested in it, it's basically Matamp Demo stock let me know and I'll let you know how much they want and they can sort the shipping out with you. Might be a good way to go and try one, its certainly available for a price that isn't going to cause you any issues if you don't like it and want to sell it Maybe have a look at Barefaced as I tried them recentl;y with Matamp, very much not my tone but had a hella amount of treble available.
Gave the factory a call, Hayden was still in vacation so Jeff answered (he's always great and I love his accent) and I reserved the demo room 212. Thanks Steve ! Wooks79
I have my new Matamp gt200mk2 with blue 1010 tolex and a white faceplate with graphics and a matamp cinmascope logo up for a swap. i want to downsize as i don't need a head this good to be honest. I would only trade for a orange ad200b and a orange 810 in orange tolex.
I have nothing to swap, but would love to see some more pics! davedave
Holy sh*t! That's a rig and a half. You're making we want a second 8x10.................and a second GT200................ And... GAS! GAS! GAS!
quimbymeat
ha, The gt200mk2 and the mk1 are the best heads around. i started using a tronographic rusty box at my last gig at wickerman and it was perfect for the band i am in. i am in need of a 810 to own as i am borrowing all the time. the gt200 is again perfect but the only way for me to get a 810 is if i sell the gt200. My last comment got removed so i don't know if this is aloud? this is not an advert just chat.
davedave
I couldn't agree more. I wish I'd discovered Matamp sooner. I'm using it through a Marshall 8x10 and the power is just unreal. The only downside is moving a 72kg cab up two flights of stairs to get it to and from our practice space. I've been thinking alot about the Barefaced 69er. There's only forty eight kilos difference.
