Guess I should post this here too, even though I still only have this one poop photo. It's my GT200 with it's new 6x10 friend. Having the white matching cab makes the head look 'complete' now I think, and I feel totally vindicated for my choice of bright white with the whole ensemble :)

Oh yeah, the 6x10 owns pretty hard. I'll admit I've never been a fan of any 4x10 I've tried, so I was sceptical. It also definitely has taken me a few weeks to get used to how it sounds. It has so much low end, I'm struggling to roll enough off with the amp's tone controls to get it sounding how I like! Paired with my Precision, this amp just sounds how a rock bass really should IMHO :)

Ace cabs - definitely worth a shout if you're in the market for a new one! Heavy, but ace.

That is one of the coolest looking bass rigs I've ever seen. I salute you!

I reckon with some pre-amp EQ you'd get some nice filthy top end for recording.

[quote name='wayne58' post='868175' date='Jun 15 2010, 04:09 PM']Just collected these this afternoon, Jeff swapped the 2x12 I bought off Steve as I prefer the Lloyd loom as opposed to black speaker cloth.
Can't wait to gig em!!

What do they call the finish of the vinyl? Very nice, by the way

I want to order a NONE live in flight case from nsp in a few days has anyone got the correct Measurement's. I got

I'm looking to get a live in one, so I need to make sure my measurements are right too. My head is a different size to every other GT200 though, so I can't verify yours. You'd probably do well to just check and recheck your own amp until you're happy with the measurements. And make sure to allow for the feet etc if they need you to :)

Is it really a foot tall though? o_O

I'd probably want to run it flat out, and blend a DI/mic signal for some live stuff maybe? GT200 is too loud to run that flat out and still mic at a lot of gigs, but would the Minimat be too quiet?

Lovely cab, nice to meet you today.

In the next few weeks I'll be picking up a 6x10 and a 4x6.

Think I've even got a lead on getting some red tolex so I can have them all match.

Very nice, love Lloyd Loom. I'm going Sat to decide on cabs. Which drivers are in there..BN12-300S's?

I just picked up a one of a kind Matamp 4x6 yesterday, bought it for home practice and potentially studio work. It still amazes me that no matter what Matamp gear I plug into my tone is always there even on something as small as this cab.

I can get crappy mobile phone pics tonight if anyone wants.

Cheers
