I remember someone saying it introduced noise, not sure if that's why they stopped doing them though.

It did introduce a little bit of noise when I played with it. It would probably be gated out pretty easily though, if you were so inclined. I'm finding the noise gate in my Pod to be pretty much amazing at getting rid of that kind of noise right now, but I'm imagining most people won't be using a pod into their Matamp.

So after a failed attempt on my Birthday to buy anything (which resulted in my going into a strop) I'm all sorted now got another 2 amps on order and just discussing a new cab.

I have tried a wide range of totally new Matamp stuff, I'll check with Jeff tonight if I can disclose any information.

Also my red tolex arrived apparently I bought enough to carpet a flat.
