Today/friday i recorded only with it and it sounded perfect and i did different takes for the gain stage and to give to Jeff so they can let peeps hear the meat but i need to send it back to get a pad switch on it as the output is mental and the bass knob is not working but apart from that it sounds like a valve amp.

looks great, i will be sending my d.i. back on thursday when its finished you should go to the factory and try it out as you will need it to go with the final setup mate. Again looks great

The Tayste switch bypasses the front presence, bass and treble controls and switches it to a default trim pot setting inside the amp that I set at the factory. So basically my own preset in the amp, this means I always have the same tone, I can lend the amp out to people and they can mess with the controls but not affect my tone.

It's worked really well, best amp I've ever owned

Yeah man, I can go get my 1x18 at the same time ;)

How's the 1x18" working? I'm getting my unported 4x10" with Eminence Ferrite Delta 10A's (8ohm/1200W) next week and I'm planning to buy either a another 4x10" or a 1x18"... any recommends?

Here are some snaps of my rare Bass 200 being serviced ready for me sometime this week I suspect (waiting on a new custom faceplate

Bass 200 not to be confused with the GT200 ;) this has 4 transformers, 4 preamps tubes and 2 full channels of goodness.

I dread to think what that weighs, the transformers are a good few kilos each. Mine has 2 and is heavy enough.

Just ordered a 1x18" cab. The 4x10" is probably the loudest thing ever - I think that it beats many of the 8x10" cabs out there. Can't wait to get the 4x10" + 1x18" setup.

Yeah looks like a highly modified GT120

Good price, good amp for a doubler but anyone just after a bass amp would get more joy out of a GT200.

In saying that, if you like to run a cranked amp with a bit of twang I could see this being great.

The 2x15 in it is certainly interesting as a fane loaded cab

I am in American at the moment and before that i was on tour for three weeks in europe but i will sort it out 100% when i get back as it is finished. bass chat will not let me post pics. if anyone wants to see it finished then give me your email.

It is one of the best things i have ever bought and the tube grind is insane.
