2x18 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) Selling a few of my short scale basses as I have gone over to long scale! This is a Japan Reissue Mustang bass in Rare Lake Placid Blue. It is in almost unmarked condition apart from a buckle rash mark on the rear that I have tried to show in the photo. I had a custom Abalone scratchplate made for it by Martin Simms. I also made my own adjustable Mute/damper that will be included in the sale. ( this can easily be removed without marking the bass in any way as it uses the existing bridge screws ) It is currently strung with Thomastik Ti Flats and plays and sounds fantastic. It comes with a Warwick case ( That I bought new when I bought the Mustang ) Not looking for any trades as i currently have 16 Basses! dieselged Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Very interested in the Mustang. Is this still for sale?
Gareth Hughes Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 Oh bother - I've just soiled myself. Me likee that bass a little too much.
RussFM Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 This looks awesome. If only it wasn't Christmas and I wasn't skint! Here's hoping the future buyer doesn't get on with short scales and decides to sell it in six months when I can afford it!
