Hi guys and gals My name's Gideon (my friends call me Gid) and I'm 19 in Jan. I've been playing bass for 6/7 years and currently go to The Academy Of Contemporary Music - Europe's leading Rock and Pop School. I have a Shine SB24 at the mo but finally have enough money to get something a lil more rocking

Im at sixth form and with to go to ACM after it.

What kinds of stuff do you need. That sounds retarded lol.

I mean, like grades on instruments? and theory?

They say a grade 5 theory knowledge and playing at probably like grade 6 standard on the Higher Diploma course. I've never done grades in my life lol. My music teacher thought that I was at least at grade 7 standard which is cool - Be as capable as possible for when you come down here because it can be a rough ride if you're not prepared. That's the best advice I can give you - but it's totally worth coming down just for the contacts if nothing else We'll grab a beer lol
