neilb
This new logo was introduced in 1995 on the Deluxe USA P Basses. The SN should be on the back of the headstock if its genuine. Looks OK to me. Just be cautious if your thinking of getting it. Its a 22 fret neck, standard on the Plus and Deluxe Ps of the period. These models had longer top horns than standard Ps to help with balancing the longer neck. It will look daft on a standard P bass body, in fact it may not even fit the neck pocket. neilb
The "er" was only attached to the "Fend" on the transition logos, never on the spaghetti type (as used from the start and on reissues etc).
