a bit of 80's groove

one of the most underated bands IMO.... awsome i think! Me and my sister saw Ben the singer on the Kings Road in London in an unfortunate state...hope he is doing better now...

One of my favorite bands of all time...Shakatak some of the best british jazz funk ever...Bill Sharp the pianist is a vey special player..i love his playing and could listen to it all day...George aint shabby on the JD either

I've never seen it before but someone selling a Pedulla bass today in the For Sale forum posted it up as an example of their bass sound and I thought it's so good it ought to be shared in this thread...

This pops up just about every time someone gets a topic going about great funk playing - and none the worse for it either!

I love the tone he gets from the BC Rich - I've seen Maceo a few times and he always plays this. However the bass nver sounds quite like this version. . .
