Stingray5 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 (edited) I picked this album up by chance back in the 80's and loved it; especially this first track on the album. Real fusion as it blends Russian folk singers with a Metheny/Latinesque style. Maybe not 'funk' in the usual sense though, for me, it does have a nice groove to it. (Bass player is Russ Landau).
