Stingray5 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Haha, got in too late to put my own 2p-worth in but thought I'd just say the B.C. album is in my own vinyl collection too and is one of my faves by Mr B Cobham Esq. (Aside from the obligatory 'Spectrum', that is. ). Another is this. Some real 'jazz-funk' from 1974 from the album 'Crosswinds'. Could almost be a theme from a cop show! Stingray5 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 While on the subject of drummers... (apologies if this was posted previously...) Quote
M-N-Y Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 +1 for this Lenny White clip Stingray. What album is it off please? Cheers, Mark. Quote
Stingray5 Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Hi Mark, The album is called 'Streamline'. Bassist is Marcus Miller (who was only 19 at the time!). Another fave from the album is this brilliant cover of Lady Madonna with Chaka Khan on vocals. Enjoy, Steve Quote
M-N-Y Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Thank you Steve. I will check it out. All the best, Mark. Quote

Twelve bars from Mars is stonkin', and some groovy fretless from Marcus on " I'll see you soon " Shame the green like arrow has disappeared up its own warehouse for poop Although i voted to get rid of it..
