Shockwave Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009
Not from here Rob
The close up picture of the body shows black going into red going into yellow/brown. Anyone else want to chuck in their two cents? Rob.
richardd Posted December 11, 2009 Author Posted December 11, 2009 It Must be the flash, it is Def 2 , but does it really matter
Shockwave Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Seeing the new pic, its a 3 Even if the red comes up most in the flash, it just makes it a dark red 3 tone. A 2 tone would have zero red show up in the photo! I have only seen one Fender two tone sunburst jazz and that was a japanese market only one with maple/black block inlays.
aznbass Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 (edited) Looks like 3. Theyare both beautiful, so someone buy the mans bass. Edited December 11, 2009 by aznbass
skankdelvar Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 (edited) Colour controversy bump. Maybe it's my browser or my ageing eyes but I can't see any red. Def none on the back. F'sure it's not a 70's type 3-tone - black, blood and custard... Good luck with the sale - pretty axe. Edited December 12, 2009 by skankdelvar
Sibob Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 3 tone fo sho! Not aware of Fender ever doing a 2 tone Jazz?! Other than a CS custom colour perhaps Bump for a great looking bass though! Si
