Bass_In_Yer_Face Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 There are certain basses that i just think look pretty sexy whoever is playing them. Here are some I've noticed The JJB Signature http://www.shukerguitars.co.uk/jjpb.htm The Guy Pratt signatures Status John Taylor's favourite Aria SB1000 And my next purchase Squier Quote
KevB Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I like the look of those mod'd P Basses in the new Squier series (looks like a tele bass). Quote
lobematt Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 i dont actually like any of them... *hides* Quote
bass_ferret Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Its not really right to compare Squier to custom builds like Status or Shuker. Squier seem to be nice basses for the money and very popular amongst the financially constrained but I doubt anyone with the budget for a Shuker would buy a Squier instead. Quote
john_the_bass Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I doubt anybody would buy one instead of, but they might buy one as well as. Quote

Hamster Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Not too keen on the Status or Aria Hamster Quote
Guest MoJo Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 If they did the Vintage Modified Squier in Black with a B-W-B pick guard, I'd have one tomorrow. Never been a fan of 'natural' guitars. Not brave enough to buy one then get it painted. Mark Quote
ahpook Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 both the status and the aria are pretty fugly to my eye...esp the status. Quote

Come to that, why is a natural maple with blocks VMJ sexier than any other natural maple Jazz with blocks? Quote

setekh Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 (edited) I'd say I find this ATK305 I've stumbled upon on talkbass a while ago to be the sexiest thing (but you may disagree ) Edited October 21, 2007 by setekh Quote
ashevans09 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I'll be honest I think any pedulla rapture or american MTD is sexy as hell. Nothing to do with price, but I just think they look hot. my 2 cents... Quote
ashevans09 Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 Oh yes and all Ibanez SRX's (not the 400's though) Quote
