Strontium-Dog
Hello all thought i would join the forum and introdouce myself . I live in Chester but come from Belfast , never owned a guitar in my life ,wouldnt know a Fret from a Fetlock, have no coordination, short stubby fingers BUT i am willing to go and buy a Bass and try to learm something about it and the cracking sounds that come from them. Now i have a mate online who is a regular to these boards and told me to become a member and ask around for answers. The biggest question is ...youve guessed it Which Bass ? dub_junkie my online mate sent me a wealth of info about different types of Bass but which one does a complete novice like me get, im willing to spend £200-£300 on the Bass alone . I fancy a Tokai Thunderbird but would like your opinions please Anyway good to be here , cant wait to get the beastie whichever one and start to learn oh yeah im 49 this Thurs your never to old to rock eh! My musical influences are Bowie, Led Zepp, Lou Reed, Kraftwerk, any heavy metal band Santana Toodles all Stronty
