rjb
Is it possible to cross reference the IP address with a recent user also selling a 'suspect' bass that was flagged up here and on the Warwick forum?
Hear, hear. It was that thread that sprung to mind when I saw this ad.

Asked not criticism.
People have the right to be cautious and ask appropriate questions of a seller; especially someone who registers on a forum and immediately attempts to sell an expensive item. The fact that the OP's details of the item is, to say the least, 'limited' and that English appears to be the second language, from past experience, these are indicators of a 'potential' scam. If a seller's responses to questions via PM are equally shonky, why shouldn't people post the replies to make others aware of a potential scam. You'd have to be a right FW to imagine that when dealing with online purchases from private individuals the term, 'innocent till proven guilty' applies. Forums are littered with tales of people trying to bag bargains and letting their heart rule their head; there is at least one active case at the minute on the Warwick forum where someone didn't follow the basic rules and the person selling said item has then tried to do it on this forum as well! IF this seller is genuine then he needs to get a few more details up and tbh if he's from the Far East/Thailand he's gonna need to find a very trusting first trading partner! <edited for spelling; that's my CDO coming through... longtimefred
i think the chances of actually receiving this bass once you have handed over your money are worse than winning the jackpot on the euro lottery!
