Budget twins(ish).

Aria STB Series Jazz and Precision. The necks on these are lovely. The J has Entwistle JBXN pickups, a series switch and rounds, the P has a Quarterpounder and Chromes. For a pair of forty quid basses plus some upgrades they are awesome.

Awesome! I have an HPJ in alder and rosewood, which is my main gigging bass. Would love to complete the set with an RV4 but don't think I'll ever have the funds at today's prices!

Not quite twins - my 1972 Musicmaster & brand new JMJ mustang

Ah, my first ever decent bass was a 1974 Musicmaster in exactly that colour...loved it so much, but when there was a Jazz bass on offer, being a poverty-stricken student at the time, I traded it in.

Nowadays, for the negligible trade-in value, I'd just have kept it.
