it would be cooler if it had all its knobs too. i used to take the piss out of my mate for buying the best bass on the planet in such a rubbish colour, then i ended up buying one very similar, strangely enough i really like white rays now:)
My mate took the piss out of my MIJ Fender P in Oly White when I first got it when I was 15/16....and yep, I kinda thought 'did I buy the wrong colour?'

Now Im 28 and I LOVE white basses, and I think he had poor taste.

They're not really twins, the one on the left was born two years earlier so the one on the right is the evolved version, but both are MC924's:

A bit of an update from a previous post - Fender Jazz outgoing and blue Alleva in to complement the 3TS - these really are very close twins (Edit: oops - sorry for tiny pictures - full versions available in AC Gear Porn thread - pages 5 and 12 I think)

I used to have 2 red Kubicki's. When gigging it made sense having the spare bass the same as the one being played.

Having said that, one was made by Phil Kubicki and the other was made by the Fender custom shop and had better electronics.

I've got two Yamaha BB1600.

One black, fretted, Made in Japan - all original apart from knobs and machine heads (replaced with Schallers)

One red cherry, fretless, Lane poors pickups, Gotoh 201 Bridge, Schaller machine heads. Converted to fretless with an ebony fingerboard.

Fantastic basses.
Just received yesterday my second Squier Classic Vibe Jazz! I've recently realised that the CV Jazz is without doubt my favourite bass to play and I love the sound! So when searching for a good bass to use as a backup, it was the logical choice!

The rest of my band think I'm weird (I'm not going to disagree), but if something works, why not!

Anyone else in the same boat?

Cheers,
James
Ooh, I just stumbled on this thread so thought I'd add my two-pence-worth. Or rather I should say my two Westies worth!
Also got the two Rays though they're really more cousins, one 5 and one 4.
What I'd like now is a 4 or 5-string match for my Tune bass.
(Click on my sig pic below if you want a closer look).

I have 2 P's (a 2008 American Standard and a 1974) and 3 Jazz Basses (a Squier VM fretless, a 1973 and a American Deluxe 5er).

I love them all and play them all frequently.
