Very, very nice indeed, and don't take this the wrong way - but I reckon one of them twins is adopted. :)

My fairly recently acquired triplet of Westones, bought in a moment of Matsumoku madness.

No pictures yet but I am now the proud owner of Squier VM Jazz fretless and fretted basses.

I'm still contemplating seeing if I can swap the body of the fretless with one from a fretted so I have 2 identical natural finish Jazzes.

I may swap the necks on both, sell the fretted neck on the sunburst fretless body and buy another VM fretted if I can't find anyone to swap with.

not sure yet

[quote name='LeftyJ' post='750509' date='Feb 19 2010, 09:24 AM']They're not really twins, the one on the left was born two years earlier so the one on the right is the evolved version, but both are MC924's:

The problem with these basses is that there's not enough control over the sound

so which knob switches the telly on? :)

very nice basses.

I have two sets of twins (as of today)

Just got my hands on an Ebony Gibson Thunderbird Studio IV.
Sits nicely with the Ebony Studio V :)

I also have a pair of 1978 Fender Precisions, A Siennaburst and what used to be Oly White:

NO, when did you get the 2nd and what did you have to sell?

I've now got 2 P basses for general gigs, MIM with rounds, and a CIJ with flats

I suppose I really need a MIA now, perhaps a vintage one for special occasions

Very nice Alan - any particular reason why you have two seemingly-identical CS's? Is one an investment and the other a player? Two is just greedy :)

When I was at school I was a Yes nut and I guess Chris Squier was the first bass player I paid any attention to. These two came up on Basschat over the past couple of years and I was able to get them. Looking for a third! :)

It came up a few months later, Stacker was getting shot of her.

Would love twins... sigh, maybe something for the future!

I did see a stunning pair of Corts, 4- and 5-string versions, in a beautiful off-white - someone got themselves a deal buying those!
