Phaedrus
If I wanted to make my normal (5/4 string) bass sound like Pearl Jam's Jeremy (Ament played a 12-string on it), is the POG2 the only pedal that could do it? AFAIK, 12-string basses are tuned NOTE/+1 OCTAVE/+1 OCTAVE? The POG2 would give NOTE/+1 OCTAVE/+2 OCTAVE, so not quite the same, but I'm guessing it'd sound pretty close? Thanks, Mark Edited December 17, 2009 by Phaedrus
gnasher1993
You could try Micro POG + chorus Then you'd get the 8ve up and the warble you would d get from the pair of octave strings.
Phaedrus
How ironic . . . Check out 3:44. It's a guitar, I know, but you could be onto something, Gnasher . . . Jarhead
You could try a Digitech Whammy IV, but it only has a +1 and dry, but it sounds pretty good, and tracks well. I'm thinking of selling mine soon, so if you want it, we can work something out. Zach

He says it 'simulates a 12 string bass' but he has: -1 0 +1 Isn't a 12 string bass -1 0 0?
velvetkevorkian
A 12 string is normally 0 +1 +1 surely? As per the first post.
