obi 2 kenobi
Not sure if this guy gets enough recognition. Amazing player with the band Slave. Check 'Feel my love' , one of the best examples of his signature sound; big growling rasping sound punctuated with slides, double stops and tasty fills. Check Slave's 3 albums with Steve Arrington on drums & vocals for more great stuff

Pete Academy
At last! Someone else who appreciates Mark Adams! Slave were a huge part of my bass upbringing. Marks's sound was huge, and IMO was the finest bass sound of the era. I think that when he turned to an Alembic he really found his signature sound. It's really hard to describe, but absolutely dominated the mix. A great player.
Pete Academy
I would seriously advise anyone to check this player/band out. You will not be disappointed.
