My Beloved Tobias Classic 5

I want to sell my USA Tobias Classic 5. I'm reluctant to do so, but I want to buy some new cabs.

It's about 15 years old, well gigged. A deep ding in the top of the neck, a small crater where I've rested my thumb, and well-tarnished bridge due to years of toil and sweat.

Beautiful unlacquered lacewood top (looks like lizard skin), alder back, sandwiching a wenge plate. Pau ferro fingerboard, flamed maple neck.

£1000...no offers.

Seriously nice bass & good luck with the sale!

I had one of these around 1991 and it was fabulous, though yours looks like it's got wider string spacing which is a good thing IMO..

Serial number 2116.

Everything original. The back cover plate is the same wood as the neck stringer.

Should also mention I had the neck shaved down a bit to accommodate my small hands better. Feels awesome to play.
