seabirch Posted December 20, 2009 Posted December 20, 2009 Hi having had to return a Musicman Stingray to the shop as couldn't get on with the neck in the upper frets (found string spacing too wide for my hands), I played around with six different basses including a Fender Marcus Miller, a Fender Custom shop Jazz and a Sandberg Bullet in bubinga, I came away with Sandberg Ken Taylor in cream. Just love the sound and feel of it. [attachment=38697:DSCF5991.JPG] [attachment=38696:DSCF5986.JPG] Jonathon Quote

niceguyhomer Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Yep - PMT in Brum always have a good selection in. Quote
warwickhunt Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Wasn't sure who KT was so I Googled it, especially as the headstock was reminiscent of a bass played by a coloured guy in the 80's/90's that had some patented 'floating neck' but it wasn't him obviously as I now know KT played in The Scorpions. However I did find a youtube vid of someone using a Sandberg KT... this guys style and mannerisms remind me of someone but for the life of me I can't quite put my finger on who! bottomfeed Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 very cool!.... bet it sounds lush! recently bought a Basic 5 myself.... Sandberg are great basses... it's a keeper Quote
martthebass Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Had a 5 string one of these earlier this year.......lovely bass, very versatile and a great playable neck. Needed a fretless and so off it went, damn wifey's '3 basses only' rule. Quote
Veils Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 I've always maintained that I have never missed a bass as much as my old Cali JM4. Quote
