Ashdown Electric Blue

i have a electric blue 15-180. But wanted a new head (louder, better-low end etc.) I noticed the speaker can be seperated and wondered what the power handling was for the speaker alone as i bought it second-hand.

Anyone Know?

The speaker in there is fairly rubbish, it is in a small sealed box, fine for the power of the combo, but not worth putting any more power into. Sound surprisingly good with a guitar amp into them though, good Doom sorta sound.

Have you thought about just adding an extension cab? This will mean your amp is giving out its full power(as long as its an 8 ohm cab) and youll get a much bigger spread and more bottom end. I reckon a MAG 210 cab would make a huge difference and wouldnt cost you much

Another cab should give you both more volume and better low end.
