PaulWarning
Well.. it's a bit of a silly question in the first place. Everything is easy when you can play it and difficult when you can't. Please excuse the kitchen sink philosophy
yes and no, I still have trouble with Monkey Man and Babylons Burning. Glad you resurected this thread, made me read it again, London Calling keeps getting mentioned a lot, I wouldn't have said that was stupidly easy to play, not properly anyway, or like I said before maybe I'm a crap bass player
apa
Anything by Dr Feelgood. Its why I started (That and Entwistle). Realy nice to sit in the groove while you enjoy Wilko A
JoshL
Gorillaz-feel good inc The Editors-Munich Plan B-What you gonna do The Wombats-Moving To New York These are probably 4 of my favourites at the moment. All fairly simple but very satisfying to play along to!
vsmith1
My favourites that are simple (from my perspective) include:

Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol - when our band play it I get goosebumps
Sharp Dressed Man by ZZ Top
Stupid Girl by Garbage - single bass riff - even I can play it
bridge
Primo Victoria by Sabaton, easy to play and really rocks(depending on your taste of course!) would recommend seeing this band if you get a chance, one of the best live shows ever! thumperbob 2002
Everday People by Sly and the family stone- Your love is lifting me higher - Jackie Wilson no changes to either all the way through the song- all in the feel. Think someone on here said thankyou for letting me be myself- again all in the feel- but what feel it is!! I am amazed no-one has said Donna Lee! Truckstop
Oooh, I like Yellow - Coldplay and Dakota - Stereophonics. And whoever said All Night Long - Lionel Richie, yes! I also like to chill out with Dance of Eternity - Dream Theater. Truckstop

Jambo10
A few that others have mentioned, indeed, nice and easy, and sound good too, ie Stand By Me and Chasing Cars. Both of them sound awesome when the band belts them out, simple, yet effective. Personally I like, for simpleness, yet a good thumping song, love to play Muscle Museum by Muse....fab. Jam
Ball of Confusion by the Temptations is pretty much the same all the way through, good fun to play!
daz
Bob Marley - Stir It Up
One of the first bass lines i learned to play. You can really zone out to it for ages. Using it to practice placing your fingers properly and getting a clear note.
