Thanks for the comment,
i have no idea what kind of sound my customer is after,onething i know he play jazz,
i used to make guitar so it would be my first time for me to make bass, i live far away from the crowd but i am sure
my customer can get any kind of pickups from overseas,

A few things strike me here... the wood looks great, but the shape is a bit retro...
I would expect the inherent sound from the body to dark and warm, but rosewood isn't a usual body wood so difficult to predict how it will sound and that applies to all custon jobs anyway, IME.
Pickups, ... some retro jazz singles from a cosmetic POV...

I assume that good wood isn't going to be painted..otherwise it is a waste.

Just trying to get my head round a retro looking natural wood bass, and one that isn't the bog standard ash/alder type grain..
This will colour up pretty dark, of course.

Not really sure of any joined up thinking here...????

From what I understand rosewood gives a tight, bright sound when used for acoustic guitars due to its hardness but with a warmth stemming from the open grain. Take from that what you will - it looks like it'll be a beautiful guitar and it should sound good whatever (decent) pickups you use. I reackon it'll [i]look[/i] really good with chrome hardware and a pair of Darkstars.

Does your customer have an opinion???
