Dom in Dorset Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 What bass do you think just looks good? You don't have to own one, or have even tried one. You don't have to like the way it plays or sounds. I'm a T bird fan so you'd expect me to go for something a bit weird but here's my choice: And the end view: I just love the simplicity of the design, the jazz bass has a beautiful body but coupled with the black headstock.... It may not have the contoured body of the usual Jazz but there is something about that shape. Quote
YouMa Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 70s jazz in natural anyday, but with a badass on and an audere fitted. Quote
rubber_ritchie Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 That's a beauty! Is it the Duff bass? I'm in love with Lex Sadlers' white Warwick http://www.alexissadler.com/gear.php Quote
velvetkevorkian Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 A Sei single-cut (series 1, I think)- something like this... Quote
Wil Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Has to be a P bass. Natural body, black pickguard, maple board. Sex! Quote
J3ster Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 (edited) That Black Fender at the top is an Aerodyne isn't it? I very nearly picked up one of those last year. Beautiful Basses and good value too. Edited December 26, 2009 by J3ster Quote

Chris2112 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 The Warwick Dolphin I find to be a very special looking bass. Truely an adventurous design but one that works very well! The old through neck ones with Bartolini pickups are brilliant, I must buy one some day! Quote

JTUK Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Simply for a good-looking bass..?? I think a Sadowsky Jazz is a very stylish bass and if you wanted to go up a level cosmetically, I think Sei J's or/and possibly Celinders. For me, the Jazz design..and enhanced, IMV, by certain others, takes some beating. I'd say Jazz=benchmark bass Quote
