waynepunkdude Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Should have listed it as 'reliced' could have made a mint. Quote
lemmywinks Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 He said it's been eaten by termites, on one of the horns it looks like the shell of a bass! Quote
Mr. Foxen Posted December 28, 2009 Posted December 28, 2009 Pretty Doom. Chambered body, pioneering. Possibly it was routed by smearing termite bait on the appropriate parts, organic styley. Quote

Happy Jack Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Damn but those termites are good! Look at the way they've created a routing for a humbucker in the neck position. You just don't get termites like that any more. Quote
Bigwan Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I've seen worse believe it or not. In Sound Control (as was... I think. Not the Jamaica St. one) in Glasgow. 70's Fender Jazz, Sunburst, rosewood neck, blocked and bound, tort pickguard. If I stopped there you'd think it sounded class... except some bright spark had removed the binding on the neck and tried to slim the neck to the new fingerboard width (very badly). They'd also re-routed the pickup routes for bigger than standard pickups (while drunk I think) and modified the pickguard accordingly (also badly - SO much bigger than the pickup routes!). Also battered to hell and back. The sort of bass that any right thinking human being would be take out back and put out of its misery... played like an absolute dog. They were still looking 1700 quid for it... ALL ORIGINAL apparently! LOL Quote
alton Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 Really This is fantastic. I like it. Thanks for posting link here. Have a good day. Quote

Buzz Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 I like the fact it's got 8 bids and is at $56. Some people have no sense or they have money to burn. Quote
Maverick Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 "No termites included in this auction" Quote
