Bass Exciter

Hi,

first post, go easy etc...

I'm GASing for a Bass Exciter, and I'm interested in what people's general opinions are of them?
Obviously there is a lot of hype out there in reviews you read, and I guess I'd just like to hear people's first hand experiences with them.

I tried one in the Gallery with Epifani gear and the difference it made wasn't enough to make me buy one. Maybe it works better with other makes.

I'm loving mine, it gives a very useful boost when I want to use it.

It makes the most difference with a smaller rig, I find. It does make the amp sound much bigger. Now mine is unused, as I play a big Marshall.
