Boss EH-2 or EHX Steel Leather

I was just going to buy a EHX Steel Leather pedal, reason being I play finger style only and want a plectrum sound (more trebbly clicky) when playing with distortions which I heard can emultate to a degree, but being a Boss fan I hear that the Boss EH-2 can do the same as the Steel Leather, is this correct? Would love to know if anybody has tried a Boss EH-2 here... Thanks

Ha yeah it is the sensible option. But I ended up with the EH-2 and it is very useful makes a distortion pedal have loads more options.
