Could do with being mastered, but sounds good dude. It's a pretty fun track.

It's a sad state of affairs when you recognise a man by his pedalboard...

Hah i thought that too.

"hey that board looks familour (sp?) - hang on.."

Just had a listen. Now if I can get my drummer to quit his job up north so we can practice & talk the guitarist into playing more synth guitar......

Bassist is called Michal Gorecki, he's over on a Facebook page called Organic Bass Wobble. Don't know what his kit is, but I could ask him if you want?

That would be most appreciated. I'm sticked to OC-2 --> MF102--> and so on setup but just curious about his pedals. Cheers.

Hey D, here's what he uses...

"the exact signal chain is: EBS Multicomp>Oc2>Smooth Beaver Fuzz>Line6 M9 (Q Filter>Delay with Mod>some Chorus (can't remember which one)."

Cheers mate. Thats a good info. By the way (if it was before - I'm sorry) which one compressor/sustainer would be best for d'n'b/dubstep pedal chain. Any suggestions lads ?

None? :P

I've only tried a couple of compressors & the only one I liked was the EHX White Finger, but I didn't use it for Dubstep or with any other pedals.
Wouldn't mind trying some again, but there's many other things higher up on my list.

Like what ? Share your GAS with us mate. It may became my own GAS :)

I use one on on the preamp to protect the power amp/speaker for large spikes but don't use one on the board at all for the music I play. I find it crushes dynamics and the really low low bass frequencies a little too much as well as playing havoc with ambient sound levels (like reverb & delay).

A decent fretless bass (5 or 6 stringer), a BEF Pro with HH (to work in conjunction with the Moog LPF), a good chorus pedal (the CE-2 is a mates), something that can make good unison fx (like a pitch shifter) & another cab (maybe a PA sub or self build). & maybe even a couple of Moog pedals.

But....

I've got a wedding in just over 2 months & then a house to redecotrate, so it could be some time before I get that list complete! :(

Lol, it is. I might just settle for a compressor! :P

I'm working on it slowly. Got a nice smallish pedalboard & a decent combo out the Mrs to be so far.

I would think the Moog Minitaur would be quite useful for synth bass. Looks like it has a regular cable jack input and output, so I would think you could plug a real bass in..
it also has an LFO, but I don't think you can control it with a pedal..

Used to read this thread loads a few years ago. Finally got my new band up and running and got some sounds on the net.

My set up is based around a Fretless Yamaha 4-string and a Nord Modular Synth. See what you think:

http://soundcloud.com/gomaband/caveman-skank-riddim - all the sub and high synth bass part is created using my system

http://soundcloud.com/gomaband/business-step-vocals-coming - all sub parts and the vocal synth sound that hits on beat one of the heavy section is created using the system. The other 2 melodic bass parts are created by the EWI and synth player in the band.
