Eventide Pitchfactor swelling up 2 octaves. The effects being used dint change though. Sounds pretty much identical to the +2 oct on the Whammy IV though (I A/B'd them!).

It's OC2 - Geiger Counter - (Pitchfactor when I swell up) - Moog ring mod - Moog cluster flux - TC Nova delay.

so .. is the Pitchfactor in a seperate loop or in the main chain ?

Main chain...

Here - http://www.sheponbass.co.uk/blog/2012/3/30/my-signal-chain-explained.html

I use it for everything I used the Whammy for, plus a shed load more.

The 2 octave upsound in the vid is not clean bass, it's the chain of effects I detailed above. I just turn the Pitchfactor on or off going into an out of that section of the track.

mmm.. i'm currently trying to sell my whammy to fund more necessary purchases (for the stuff i'm doing at the moment), but will want pitch shifting stuff at some stage in the future. (probably Eventide)

i looked on ebay to see what kind of price Whammy's are going for, and note that the original ones (not mine - the WH-1) are trading at around the £400 mark !!!

seriously, wtf ?

I know I dont get that either. Having played with the original... I prefer the Whammy IV! :) though the cut of top end from the entire Whammy range does my head in. Eventide is amazing - but again, expensive!

Very clean, I like it.

Pretty nice. I see a Polytune, an OC3 and what looks like a Bespeco Weeper Wah. The long shots look like another lighter coloured pedals as well - I assume dirt of some type. Maybe a Boss ODB-3 or similar.

If anyone is after one of those Source Audio Pro Bass Envelope Filters I've just listed my immaculate, literally never used, one for sale here.

Hey guys, cheers for the comments.....I did a video :)

So refined sounds are:
Intro/Chorus: OC-2, ME-50B (Slow Gear, Chorus/Reverb)
Verse: Same as chorus but with SourceAudio BEF
Drop: OC-2, ME-50B (Distortion, Chorus, Whammy), CoPilot FX Orbit, BEF

Cool :)

My signal chain is:
Bass -> Pedal FX loop send -> TU-2 -> OC-2 - > CoPilot FX Orbit -> ME-50B -> Slicer -> BEF -> FX loop return -> Amp

I'm only using the standard BEF so:

Frequency - 9 o'clock
Sweep Range - 10 o'clock
Speed - 1 o'clock

Still messing around with it though.

Loving those sounds Si, excellent work!

I've just received my Standard BEF with Hot Hand, I'll give it a go and see what happens.

Can I ask what effect type are you using with those settings, please?
