moonoid Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Just a thought - I may be interested in some sort of swap deal - my 1970s Fender Jazz for an original Rickenbacker Jetglo. Anyone interested? See pics below and pic on stage. I'm still also looking for some more bass amplification. Eddie

Must have been a senior moment! Best sort it out before next gig on Sunday!

bassjamm Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 That's about a lush as a vintage bass can look in my opinion...!!! Hmm...need to find myself some serious dosh or a rickenbacker to trade sharpish!!!
warwickhunt Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I take it the thumb/finger anchor wear in front of the bridge pup was done by previous owners!
Etienne Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Eddie's a lovely bloke, a great player and excellent singer in a busy, hard-working band (I know because my girlfriend's dad is their keys player!). I personally think you should keep this mate (because it's ace and you'll miss it), but then again, I can understand that a nice old Rick would be very difficult to resist... Good luck whatever you decide to do! Et
