just seeing if theres any interest in this as i like the look of chimike's variax on here but something has to go first!

its a mexican model p/j in sunbirst with an adonized gold scratchplate. has grooved saddle bridge too. its in pretty good shape just the odd minor scuff and scratch but nothing drastic, very little 'rash' on the back.

it plays lovely and sounds great, the neck has started to age quite nicely and the finish has darkened up a bit - satin finish not gloss.

looking for around £380 if thats not too ambitious???

I have a Fender Jazz V (mexican) for a straight swap or an Ibanez ATK300 for part exchange. If they don;t tickle your fancy have a free bump for a sexy bass :)

I keep on looking at this, i'm punishing myself really.
I could only justify it to myself, and the missus, if it had a maple board.
My p/j jap Squier is burst/rosewood...

Best of luck mate. It's a great bass.

Not sure of the weight i can try and weigh it on my bathroom scales but cant guarantee the accuraccy!! I'd prefer to ship to the uk, but if you want to pm me your address details i can get a qute but it may be quite pricey!

Just saying your price may be a bit too steep, especially seeing as this isn't the active version. I got a great condition Fender Jazz V with a Bass Bridge for £250 off here.

I think your price is fine mate, just stick at £350.

Spaz, mate. A Mexi Standard V isn't the same thing as a pbass special from the deluxe series. And the passive version has more fans than the active version.

I'm one of 'em.

I've got a an FSR one in matt black that I wouldn't sell for £350... they're the exactly the same as the US cali series.

Which they don't list anymore on the parts list maybe because it's exactly the same...

not too sure on the actives though...

These are great basses if you like thin thin necks, front to back.

check out that spaghetti logo... cool as...
