Nice looking Thunder 3 though not sure if the modifications with the controls will help or hinder the seller attaining his BIN price of £450...? :) (started at £360)

It does look pretty...
I'm not sure I buy the guff about "the wife got me another bass therefore this has to go" as he has quite a few different makes of bass spare parts in his previously bought items. Who knows? Anyway here's the original auction where he bought it for 350 a month ago.

Cause often, when you are out to buy an Alembic, you settle for a Westone Thunder instead.

Ebay call that "keyword spamming" and can pull your auction, plus f*ck with your future listings' searchability if you do it. With basses & guitars however, it only applies when you use the words "Gibson", "Fender" or "Rickenbacker". Odd, that.

Anyway, I'd think £250 - £300 would be a fair price for this, given that it's not original & the mods are irreversible - it presumably has had the jack moved to the body edge & the electronics will have been changed.

I have a vague recollection of one of these with buggered original electronics going through a while ago - bet it was this one, now retrofitted with a nice new Artec 3-band EQ. :)

I've got a very original fretless one of these, complete with original case, and it's a 'cold, dead fingers' case. Very peculiar pre-amp.

Centre detente. Anti-clockwise boosts bass, clockwise boosts mids. Passive treble roll-off. Switch puts both pup individually parallel/series (although they both look like humbuckers, the neck is actually a P and the bridge is a side-by-side 2 coil humbucker); switch for active/passive; push/pull on Vol for in/out of phase. 18V electrics. Thru-neck. Beautifully made. Ebony fingerboard, no lines :)

Currently, not for sale.
