davidmpires
I need a new gig bag and a decent one that can carry all my cables and amp F1. I had a Ritter but the zipper went dead on me and now I can't use the side pocket. The main aim is to ditch the aluminium case I carry around and just carry the cab in one hand and the bass on the back. Anyone have used them before which one would you prefer? Do you know where I can get them cheaper? Only bass direct seem to stock them. Rayman
I'm in a similar boat having just sold a bass with one of my Ritter bags, so I need a replacement too. These are pricey aren't they? My top of the range Ritter was only £90, and that's really as much as I want to pay.
Noisyjon
I'm after a nice gig bag too and would like to hear people's user opinions on the above mentioned. Cheers, Jon

Raggy
I went for the iGig in the end after looking at both of them at Bass Direct. You can fit a lot of things in it (actually too much) and I am happy that my bass is well protected when inside. A decent hard case will offer more protection but I am really glad I picked one up and now only use this.
KevB
I picked up one of these recently; http://www.soundsliveshop.com/p/Fender_Bas.../FEN-0991422006 And was surprised how roomy and well made it was for the price, it seemed better quality in the flesh than the photo suggests. I am happy to spend more if it means that it protects my bass and gear. After all it's like a 10% investment compared to the price of my gear. yybass
I had three iGig Cases from mikobass.com, sold 2 and bought a Double bag. They are very well made with good storage facilities, MP3 player, pens, cables and even a small amp. I doubt I will have to replace them for the next few years. JackLondon
I have the Mono bag and can tell you that it is an excellent bag! The way I was looking at it is well protected and room for all the bits and pieces! Mono fits the bill perfectly, it's well made and has 3 years warranty. They are in the higher price bracket but if someone wants to save £30 odd on the bag for a bass that's worth over £1000 than they might as well buy a Stagg gig bag! Just my 2p worth Cheers Jack

Thunderthumbs
I'm pretty sure lee650 bought a new gig bag recently. Maybe it was one of the ones you are looking at. Might be worth popping him a DM to ask.
OldGit
I like the Ibanez Gig bags I have the single and double versions Not sure how big an F1 is but the pockets are large and there's a fair few of them including am MP3 one. Shoulder and backpack straps, loads of padding and wheels on the double too. Of course me liking them has been the kiss of death and thye are no longer available. Typical. If it can't go there I'd use a proper case.. That is what a flight case is for........ ???????
Marvin
Visit My Website I got one of these, if you scroll down it's the KPEB9. Kinsman Premium Bass Bag, it's the image last on the right when you scroll down to the premium section. It seems OK, but I don't haul my bass around much. It's quite well padded, got some handy pockets in it. But the zips seem a little tetchy. Cost me about £30. Although if I was looking to use it quite a bit, I would be more inclined to consider the mono or iGig.
Doddy
Just out of interest the iGig G515 has a crazy amount of storage space, and can comfortably take a small head-like the MarkBass-in one of the front pockets, and still have space in the other pocket for cables and a laptop.
