Seems ideal.[/quote] Oh yeah for sure just get the D'addario strings with the 84 low e works a treat Quote
12stringbassist Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Gretsch basses are as cool as they come, but I couldn't justify the expense. I bought an Eastwood Classic 4 in white to match my GWF guitar. Wonderful. Quote
Cat Burrito Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Those Eastwood basses do look good. This months Guitarist has a GAK ad with a Gretsch bass in stock although it's not online Quote
jimijimmi Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 i had the opertunity to buy a white falcon bass at xmas 08.. it was awful..looked fab,but as a bass guitar,it was as usefull as an ash tray on a motorbike.. maybe it was just a "bad one" and no doubt who ever owns it now has a diff opinion.. they look cool, but not very practical for me...
