BigBeatNut Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Keep on thinking about this one ... but TBH my ideal bass would be not a DJ5 with P swapped in for J, but a 55-02/55-94 with a P swapped for in the J. Hmmm ... but that isn't likely to happen anywhere but the factory due to lack of pickguard to cover the holes .... thinking again .... Andy

Andy[/quote] I agree, to me a PJ on a Jazz body isnt ideal and i too thought about getting another 55-01 and putting the Nordy NP5 in it but now i just want a 4 string. your welcome to come and try it, even if you dont want to buy it. Ive now got my LMII set up at work so an open offer for anyone if they just fancy a play.
dave_bass5 Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 Just quick update. For anyone interested, ive taken the pick guard off and yes, it looks like its possible to put the original pups back in. For now the bass is on hold as i think i have a buyer.
dave_bass5 Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 The DJ5 is now sold. Now the hunt begins, dont you just love GAS lol.
