I want to know stuff like, how old is it ? Does anyone else out there have one, and what do they think of it. Peoples thoughts on what its like to play through, etc.

Looking at Peavey's website, it's most likely early eighties.

260 combo manual from '78 [attachment=39600:80349150.pdf]

Centurion Mark III head from '83 [attachment=39601:80307000.pdf]

Your combo seems to have a single channel version of the Centurion in it. I played a more powerful Mk III head through a matching 2x15 over the summer, and thought it sounded fantastic.

Since you've got one, maybe you could let us know your thoughts on what it's like to play through. :)
