Exactly how old is the brand Encore?

Not sure that the brand 'Encore' goes back to the 70's and I'm fairly sure that the 'craftsman' that put this bass together did so in the last 10 years!

I seem to recall the Encore brand from the 70's, but not sure if it's the same company. Brand names get traded in their own right, hence the re-appearance a couple of years ago of Sound City and Acoustic. The Vox name has moved around a bit too...

No connection AFAIK with the originals.

I saw this too. I remember Encore in the late 80s but yep, something not quite right here

Obviously a crappy old Fender pre CBS,faked up to look like a quality,hand built by craftsmen Encore.
