Hi chaps and chappeses
Anybody got any idea how much a 1977 one is worth and what issues to lookout for on it.
I've been offered a white one,no case in fairly reasonable nick for £310.

Check it hasn´t been modded!
Lots of people tend to go chopping and changing the pickups on these.
Make sure the neck is straight and th frets are ok.
other than that,not much else.
in terms of sound, I always thought they were a bit lightweight, but they were introduced as budget models initailly for people who couldn´t afford the P bass.
Seems like an ok price to me.
Just hope the finish hasn´t aged as harshly as my 78 Oly white Precision!

£310 is a very good price for a 70's Musicmaster. Assuming it's fairly straight and plays OK, I'd have it.

No idea how much it's worth - but I think I paid £85 for a new one, probably in '77. Sadly I had to sell it to raise the £275 for my Ric 4001!

Nice. I like musicmasters, although I've sold the pink one and the lilac one belongs to my daughter.
