Cat Burrito
It looks pretty trashed - I'd want to play that before buying but certainly interesting
Ou7shined
Looks to me like a lot of work for something that you couldn't play unless you upgraded everything.... which is missing the point. Very niche.
stevebasshead
Wins the award for the most agricultural strap "button" ever seen on a bass!
paul h
Far too much work for me but that is a very cool looking bass.
warwickhunt
So is it just me who thinks that it is basically a basket case that is going to be a shed load of grief to put right, which at the end of the project will still not be worth the intimated values the seller seems to indicate? EssentialTension
Stop worrying folks because:
THE FRETBOARD HAS BEEN FOUND - see new photos 9 and 10. It is in 4 pieces and I would estimate it is is 70% there, so should be useful as a pattern.
Edited January 9, 2010 by EssentialTension
Happy Jack
Just so long as it's only four pieces ... I'd have been concerned if it had been, maybe, seven or something.

Ou7shined
...The fretboard has detached itself ...
In at least 4 pieces? Is this one of those cases of spontaneous bass self-annihilation you here about?

It's rare but one sometimes comes across it, especially on a loft bass as rare as this one. Although I'd agree that in excess of four pieces is uncommon.
