Hi all, i've just agreed to sell my t-40 to a french member from here and was just looking for some advice regarding international shipping? i've imported before but never exported and am a bit wary about insurance, chances of it going awol etc. i've got a few quotes from parcelforce, fedex and ups all round about the £100 mark which we've both agreed is fine, but the quotes dont really mention whether these are tracked, and have a 'signed-for' requirement and also dont mention insurance. obviously i'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow but just wondering on general advice from folk who've done it here before? i did a wee search but couldnt find much, a sticky on this might be quite handy if somone fancied putting it together?

thanks!

Generally I find www.interparcel.com is the easiest way to arrange shipping. You have a choice of couriers, usually including UPS, DHL etc, at better prices than you'll get direct and it's very clear about tracking and insurance. Most courier services are tracked with insurance to £50, but you can increase that. The couriers they use collect and deliver reliably and I've never had a problem in the UK or overseas.

The sticky is Courier Points System and Issues, in case you couldn't find it.
