gabson
Hi i'm considering fitting an old Bartolini TBIBT preamp into my bass but im wondering if its safe to run my pedals after this new pre amp. Is it safe to do? ie would i damage my pedals? theyre just guitar pedals as im mostly a guitarist. Iv never been much use at electronics.... what i use: Ibanez tubescreamer ts9 and a Colorsound supa Tonebender. Thanks alot Jack
basshead56
I don´t think there´s any risk of damage
Silent Fly
As far as I can remember the TS-9 is buffered and Tonebender isn't. Either way adding a preamp to your bass will not increase the risk of damaging the pedals. If this was the case, Bartolini wouldn't sell many of his preamps.
