orangepeelneil
Has anyone bought or tried one of Max Webers Handbuilt tube amps ? http://www.weber-amps.de/en/index.html Thier based on the classic HiWatt DR103, DR201 and DR405 with some nice features like the ability to self bias via test points on the back. I contacted Max today , the prices are really good for a Handmade amp. MYWATT200 is EUR 1200.00= 1080.00 GBP MYWATT400 is EUR 1800.00 = 1620.00 GBP The shipping costs to U.K is 45.00 GBP I'm tempted....... orangepeelneil
Does anyone know the RRP on say a 200W all tube MATAMP,don't know much about them? Are the bigger powered MATAMP build on demand, I couldn't find them on the website. I'd consider a MATAMP 200W tube amp if they were around the £1K mark. RIM Basses
The Matamp GT200 is £ 1299 including custom tolex.

cocco
I'm playing a mywatt 200 on tour at the moment and its an absolute monster! The Glock cabs it's paired with don't really suit it but still. It's amazing
acidbass
Never knew these amps existed! They look lovely! 400w of valve amplification though? I would have no conceivable situation to be able to use that but I WANT!!!
jetofuj
I totally forgot about MyWatt. Very cool looking amps. I got a quote from Max Weber today and 200 goes for 1300 EUR. The current price of Matamp GT200 is 1500 GBP.
markstuk
YUp, the 200 looks the sweetspot in terms of pricing for the MyWatts... Mark
3below
I missed a 100W secondhand from Holland @ 500 Euros because I dithered. They really look the business and would last a lifetime.
