Sarah5string Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I've been lusting over this for aaaaaaaaages... http://www.guitarrez.com/inventory/ibanezb...bzbtb575fm.html Quote
yorick Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 That Ritter 10th anniversay bass that cost an arm and a leg to build. Quote
Kiwi Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I have the best sounding bass I've ever played. So I'd probably plump for something gratuitously expensive like a six string alembic with onboard effects unit, wireless internet and sky tv for the guitar solos. Quote
basshead56 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010

+1 I´ll take one of those too. Failing that, seeing as I´d have all that money, I´d get Epiphone to build me a 4 string version of my guitar at the moment (not the strat): http://www.americanbikestore.com/images/Lo...%20Flamekat.jpg Coolest guitar I´ve ever owned or played! Sarah5string Posted January 13, 2010 Author Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) oh and I'd get Dean guitars to build me a custom 5 string flying v in black/red with red fretboard LEDs....mmm metal. Edited January 13, 2010 by Sarah5string Quote

NancyJohnson Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 While this isn't a GAS thing (and despite the fact I'm really not a fan of guitars that look like furniture), I'd have to say I always had a soft/hard spot for the Thunderbird(s) that Spector did for Nikki Sixx: ...and these look beautiful: and the Roscoe bass on the attached thumbnail. Have them sent round to my place when you've got a minute Sarah. P Quote
chris_b Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'd keep what I have and get an MTD 535/635 Marilyn, Rob Allen Deep 5, Wal Custom 6 string and a 1950 Precision. Quote
hillbilly deluxe Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 My long gone 68/9 sunburst precision. Quote
leschirons Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Preferably one with a built in ability switch. Quote
Low End Bee Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 A nicely made precision (wouldn't have to be a Fender) in a darkish red with a matching headstock, black scratchplate, white competition stripes and a rosewood board with block inlays. Quote
Jerry_B Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 (edited) Ditto what Waynepunkdude posted - except make mine black with a tort pickguard. Or (or plus) an Eccleshall 335. Edited January 13, 2010 by Jerry_B Quote
EdwardHimself Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 That ibanez looks great. Yeah i used to have an ltd Guitar(!) that had that sort of finish. Totally awesome. If i had a limitless amount of money i'd doubtless get something custom built like the "s" word or something lol. Quote
Bass-ic Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010
I've been lusting over this for aaaaaaaaages... http://www.guitarrez.com/inventory/ibanezb...bzbtb575fm.html
I like Ibanez. I did go and look at the fourstring version of this as I liked the shape/look of it. (It must be said that I didnt look at a black one) However, it was really heavy, I was surprised! Nice bass none the less. Quote
Bass-ic Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I really like the look of this! Quote
lozbass Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 What waynepunkdude said (and I've said it many times) Quote
HMX Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Musicman StingRay. Simply gorgeous bass and sounds awesome. Quote
peted Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'd have a custom Shuker 6 string made... oh, i am! Unfortunately money is still an object though Quote
Dr.Dave Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm very content with my armoury so I'm afraid were I to win the lotto and buy anymore it would not really be for the right reasons , more like 'because I can'. But , should that ever happen I've always fancied a Ric for the coolness and a Fender dated the same year I was born. Quote
Stingray5 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I'm sort of GAS-less(!) at the moment but if pushed I'd have to say a genuine, all-original 62 P bass would do it for me. Failing that, probably a custom-built boutique job a la Shuker, etc. Quote
Bilbo Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Fancied one of these for ages..... http://www.fodera.com/a_jackson.html Quote
51m0n Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 There would be a fretless Roscoe 5 in there. Probably a Century Signature, but I would have to be careful with the spec to keep the weight right down... And another fretted one, but with a bit more bling than my Standard maybe.... An early 70's J bass too, cos I like that funky burp. Quote
