I've been lusting over this for aaaaaaaaages...

I have the best sounding bass I've ever played. So I'd probably plump for something gratuitously expensive like a six string alembic with onboard effects unit, wireless internet and sky tv for the guitar solos.

I´ll take one of those too.
Failing that, seeing as I´d have all that money, I´d get Epiphone to build me a 4 string version of my guitar at the moment (not the strat):

Coolest guitar I´ve ever owned or played!

While this isn't a GAS thing (and despite the fact I'm really not a fan of guitars that look like furniture), I'd have to say I always had a soft/hard spot for the Thunderbird(s) that Spector did for Nikki Sixx:

...and these look beautiful:

and the Roscoe bass on the attached thumbnail.

Have them sent round to my place when you've got a minute Sarah.

A nicely made precision (wouldn't have to be a Fender) in a darkish red with a matching headstock, black scratchplate, white competition stripes and a rosewood board with block inlays.

Ditto what Waynepunkdude posted - except make mine black with a tort pickguard. Or (or plus) an Eccleshall 335.

That ibanez looks great. Yeah i used to have an ltd Guitar(!) that had that sort of finish. Totally awesome. If i had a limitless amount of money i'd doubtless get something custom built like the "s" word or something lol.

I like Ibanez. I did go and look at the fourstring version of this as I liked the shape/look of it. (It must be said that I didnt look at a black one) However, it was really heavy, I was surprised!
Nice bass none the less.

I'm very content with my armoury so I'm afraid were I to win the lotto and buy anymore it would not really be for the right reasons , more like 'because I can'.

But , should that ever happen I've always fancied a Ric for the coolness and a Fender dated the same year I was born.

I'm sort of GAS-less(!) at the moment but if pushed I'd have to say a genuine, all-original 62 P bass would do it for me.
Failing that, probably a custom-built boutique job a la Shuker, etc.

There would be a fretless Roscoe 5 in there. Probably a Century Signature, but I would have to be careful with the spec to keep the weight right down...

And another fretted one, but with a bit more bling than my Standard maybe....

An early 70's J bass too, cos I like that funky burp.
